Remember this Yahoo from a few days back

Paced back and forth outside a polling station with a gun strapped to his leg. The idiot returned to the same place, pulled up a chair and watched people coming and going from the station.

Well, this time they arrested him for trespassing

in the parking lot with Trump banners, brandishing and twirling hammers in their hands. She asked if that could be considered voter intimidation.

DUH!!!

I told her she should have reported it, but she said they were more than 100' from the entrance, and there were city cops in the parking lot as well.

I don’t understand- if he was open carrying legally, and he is in a public place, on public land, who can tell him he can’t be there?

How is that trespassing?

If you're asked to leave or if you're asked to put something away and you don't and then warn you a couple times you can be charged with trespassing just like on private property. Person could just look creepy and they don't want you around. No one likes creepers.

Who is “they?”

Where I am, public property means anyone is free to do anything not strictly prohibited by law or ordinance .

If I want to take a milk crate out into a Public park, and stand in it and preach, or have a debate, I am free to do so. Nobody can walk up and tell me to leave, unless I am creating a group s large enough to require a city permit. (In my city, that’s A group of 40 or more needs a park permit in advance. Same with open carry.)
