But since we couldn't win the Senate, the Wound and Infection will remain.
I don't expect ANYTHING to get done in the next 2 years now. The repubs will take their shot at the House in 2022. With some luck, we can hold it, and win a couple of repub Senate seats.
It would be a shame if Joe is prevented from accomplishing a thing during his term.

(13,969 posts)I think we all hoped to see a decisive win on election night, but because of how voting happened the results have slowly come in and have favored Democrats. There will be run-offs for a couple senate seats and don't forget we will have Kamala presiding over the Senate.

(10,599 posts)I was just hoping for 51 in the Senate, and opportunity to eliminate Filibuster and increase Supreme Court.
Still a very slim chance at 51, but even 50 seems like a stretch at this point.

And that's why the GOP is totally freaking out about a Biden presidency.
