Stood by Trump for four years for this? What a schmuck. And you know the Trumpers are not going to reward him for his loyalty.

Trump, on the other hand, would be wildly successful as a megachurch preacher and televangelist. As you say, he already has tens of millions of cult members. He could rake in enough to pay off his creditors in no time.

BUt I think you have a point that he could have gotten random jobs here and there in Republican administrations or some lobbyist or "think tanks" but now he will have this baggage attached to him .

Then he might have a way to save his career by leading the effort to 25th Trump. That would be a president acting in a crisis which is usually a net positive. Not sure how he explains the last four years except going with the line that Trump was a great president until broken by Covid and an election with some questions.
