Stacey Abrams' Georgia Turning Blue

From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"If there is a single person who deserves the credit for Georgia’s moved to blue in the last four years, fellow Democrats believe it is Stacey Abrams."

snip

As social media lauded the work Abrams has done, she shared the credit with others, especially the late Rep. John Lewis, whose home county in the 5th congressional district put Biden ahead in the tally early Friday.

Valerie Jarrett, the former adviser to President Barack Obama responded, “You forgot one.”

The article also gives credit to Killer Mike and his efforts to turn out the vote. I sure hope Stacey is given a prominent role in the Biden administration.

She did a hell of a great job in Georgia, the party could take many lessons from her and use them in 2022 and beyond.

Rather more like purple-ish. Which is still a huge improvement from what it used to be.

The infrastructure is in place so we just need to take the momentum to the Senate races.

We need this.

I think she has a future in the cabinet or maybe still Governor of Georgia. Maybe more. I know I have gained respect.

My sister sat out the historic elections of 2008, 2012, and 2016; but voted in the off year election of 2018.

I had to apply tremendous pressure to get her to vote this year, including commandeering her Google calendar with multiple voting "appointments." Lol! However, she wouldn't even have been registered without Stacey, so, thanks Stacey Abrams!
