When I go to bed and when I wake up. I truly believe Trump is evil in the Biblical sense. He is a golem.

(3,803 posts)raise your hands and pray? I bet not. Part of this is performance. "Look at me."
I agree on Trump.

(99,714 posts)Before the debates, they start prayer threads. I prayed before the debates too, but privately and by myself.

Thank you for your vigilance.

(15,974 posts)Thank you for caring so much that you prayed twice a day. Joe did it! He also went to mass the day of the election.

(4,221 posts)For me it was about faith and that evil would not continue to triumph. This man has stomped on every commandment, then he drove over them, backed up, and spun his tires on them. He is totally offensive. Its about fairness, its about right vs wrong, and so on.

One of the things that has had me most concerned over the last several decades has been the hijacking of Christianity by the far right. They do not and never have been representative of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
I was so glad this time around that people were realizing this!!

(99,714 posts)I don't tout my faith much on this site because I arguably engage in behavior that's not consistent with it. I don't want to be a poor witness. On twitter I asked a preacher how he could support a man like Trump and instead of giving me a rational response he gives me a super Trump meme.

(15,224 posts)To me, its always been about a personal path. A personal journey unlike no one elses. We each have our own.
The ones who insist that if you do this or if you dont do this, make me cringe. God knows me and knows I struggle, and He loves me anyway.

(15,224 posts)I believe that just as God made each of us an individual, he made a path for us. We are all different and unique. Each of us no more nor any less than the next one.

I'm an atheist, but I have much more sympathy for the sentiments behind the prayers of people who prayed in support of the goodness of Biden, and not for the evil that is Trump.

There in lies the difference, which was what people were making fun of.
