So, yes, he is a political force. But not in any acceptable sense of the term.

I think there are a lot of Trump's base that aren't gettable. But I still think there are swing voters that somehow bought his lies/message. And we need to examine that one day. Not today because it's time for celebration.

He is a fascist, he is the head of the fascist Republican Party, and he is a political force.

Whether he remains a political force will depend on how his post election actions play out.

Trump is literally the power behind the whole
Republican Party.

Even though he lost, he was the candidate with the
strongest coattails.

On the whole, many Republicans owe their victories
to his energizing of Reep voters.

Also, when considering down ballot races, Democrats
fared very badly, which means that we will probably
lose the House in 2022... unless we can find a way
to energize our party in a new way.
