An observation. Messaging matters. Words matter.

“Defunding the police.” Cost us dearly. “Reforming/Improving the police” isn’t as polarizing.

“ Black Lives Matter” - nuclear dog whistle to the RePutinicans. “ Black Lives Matter Too” doesn’t eliminate the volume altogether but ratchets it down a bit.

Hopefully anyone reading this gets my point. The Democratic Party needs to improve messaging.

Black lives matter is another story. That phrase doesn't say that other lives don't matter, even though it's predictable the the GOP would spin it that way.
