...Trump's explosive rhetoric is likely to alienate and motivate a significant amount of voters - especially in Georgia, a state Biden is likely to win. I wonder if that forces him to push back against Trump or put pressure on him to bow out.
Will be interesting but this could end up very badly for the GOP's hope to keep control of the senate.

(17,802 posts)So it is entirely up to him how to tamp down, or inflame, anger and resentment on both sides.
We know trump will be doing whatever he wants without regard to consequences.
If we work it correctly, he might even try to sabotage the gop candidates out of spite.

(3,854 posts)That's why I think McConnell is now willing to pass stimulus by the end of the year. He wants to look as the good guy. Don't fall for it people, If he wins these two seats 9even just one of them) he will deny deny deny Biden everything. Obstruct obstruct obstruct everything. No judges, no cabinet members. Nothing!!

(16,799 posts)That it wouldn't be right to pass a stimulus package before the incoming administration has had a chance to look at it...after all, it'll be the Biden administration that will be responsible for administering that package!

(Something to that effect.) Make them squirm.
I know there wont be debates, but the media could ask.

(2,752 posts)A friend of mine in the medical industry has a bunch of colleagues at the CDC (headquartered in Atlanta), and she is certain that Trump's maltreatment of the organization played a big role in Georgians voting against him.
So perhaps, "Here are some statements President Trump made about the CDC. [Insert Trump quotes.]. Do you agree with those statements?" Most likely they would answer in a negative fashion, then the follow-up would be, "Then why didn't you speak out against them at the time?"

(15,374 posts)The jackass super charged their turnout this week like he did in 2016.
With him losing, that opens a window where they may not have the same level of fanatical turnout - all those goobers who have Trump shit all over their pickups and rat houses are not as likely to come out to vote for in a special election without their god in it, and may very well pout it it out.
