thought adding him to the lineup was a good idea. A network can have conservative voices without including the fringe nutjobs. MSNBC has a lot of credible conservative contributors.

if one side is full of bullshit. I suppose maybe CNN was trying to draw some Fox viewers, but even that is a stupid idea. Fox viewers want entertainment and chaos, not news and intelligent commentary.

I quit watching CNN years ago.

NPR does much the same, but at least they've got Federal funding to consider. I've learned not to listen at 25 past the hour during my commute if I want my blood pressure to stay normal.

But every time Santorum assays the shoutycrackers Republican position, at least two panelists and usually all the other panelists clobber him for saying such stupid shit. They're maybe a little nicer than I would be, but they're addressing the Republican nonsense as it comes up, which I think is useful.
