If I'm lucky and Washington ever gets Corona under control, I can start going to White House Christmas parties again! It's nice hanging with the President and the VIPs and all, but I really go for the food (don't tell anyone).

5. Such a great couple

It's so weird--before Gabby was shot, she was always the one with the big charisma and took center stage. Not because she sought it, but just that was her nature, always seeking out people and engaging them ("I don't do handshakes, I do hugs" ). After she was shot, and her ability to communicate verbally was curtailed, Mark accepted the role of "front man," and fell into it naturally.

I didn't see her for two years after she was shot, and feared she wouldn't recognize me any more, but as you can see, she recognized me immediately. Same astounding person, just imprisoned behind a cruel wall of injury.

A King's Point Merchant Marine Academy graduate replaces McCain. If you remember McCain's pet cause was to do away with the Jones Act, which would decimate American shipping companies.

IOW in times of need it would be China bringing military supplies to our soldiers abroad, not Americans.
