Philadelphia police said they arrested two men for not having permits to carry the guns they were armed with near the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where vote counting is ongoing.
Police said they had received information Thursday that individuals armed with firearms were on their way to the convention center in Philadelphia in a Hummer.
Police say both men will face firearm charges but have not been formally charged yet.
Police arrested two men in Center City Philadelphia late Thursday after receiving a tip that they were making threats against the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where the city's mail-in ballots were still being counted.

Police were told the men were coming up from Virginia armed with AR-15s, police sources said.

Police spotted the silver Hummer parked along North 13th Street, near the Convention Center. The SUV was decorated with stickers promoting the conspiracy theory QAnon.

that being said, this was last night and I just read they are evacuating soemthing because threat of bombs, though they found none. So on the one side you have people in the streets celebrating in dance and song, on the other you have the threat of bomb. So indicative.

I'll refrain from naming him because there is a small possibility it is not who I think.. His Facebook account disappeared shortly after this arrest.

He has brandished weapons at BLM demonstrations in Richmond and was likely part of the Unite the Right crap here in Charlottesville.

Photos of him and his QAnon decorated Hummer have been circulating on twitter for a while cautioning folks to beware.

There are anti fascists here who monitor such people and are likely the ones that informed on them.

There was also a bomb threat at the neighboring shopping center.
