NEW: The GOP member of a vote review panel in Gwinnett, GA repeatedly argued Friday that write-in ballots for Mike Pence as president should count for Donald Trump, the group's Democratic representative tells me.

... vote for Trump.
Since Pence is on a ballot as a VP, there is no need to write him in. Unless one really doesn't want Trump as president.

I voted straight down the democratic line except for sheriff there was only a republican and then a write-in option. I wrote in the name of a college friend - he's more libertarian but generally a good guy. I called him later to let him know that he may have to assume the position and responsibilities of the office.
