(675 posts)I've been hearing it for months and the rumors seem to be coming from activities on Carlson's part. I wouldn't dismiss it.

(11,760 posts)I am not saying that he has a chance, but everyone thought that Trump was a joke (he is actually a joke) but he ended up winning by stoking this right wing populism that we know exists after 4 years of hearing it.
Trump is an ignorant, self absorbed, vulgar man baby. Carlson is a twit, but more polished that Trump. That is not to say that he will win but the seeds are there.
We didn't think Trump would win. We thought he would get blown out in this election. We need to understand that there is an element in this country who want people like Trump and Carlson to give them what they have been told for the last 30+ years, that they deserve. Carlson courts all the same sick bastards that Trump did and he doesn't have nearly the baggage of Trump.

(16,254 posts)The US would be run according to the latest conspiracy on Facebook. Tucker has never had an original thought in his life. Besides, his first name would be easier to form a nickname than Trump and you know how much fun everyone had with that little project.
Speaking of, we really need a list of all the handles we hung on Trump. There were some real winners.

(7,596 posts)Seriously, after Donald fucking Trump, does the GOP running Tucker Carlson really sound that unbelievable?
They have zero standards. A Scott Baio/Kid Rock ticket in 2024 would not surprise me at all.
