according to the stated rule. There is a legal term which I forget that you can't punish voters for mistakes made by election officials.

What ultimately happens will tell us something important about the Supreme Court's willingness to break their oath for politics.

Just kept separate for the time being to see whether or not there are enough of them to alter the final count.
Personally, I think that Pennsylvania law ought to apply. If PA law says that they may be received up to a certain date, then ballots that arrive up to and including that date should be counted.

They are being segregated in case and until there is a lawsuit. It might become a moot point if there is not enough of them to affect the outcome.
