Police captain fired for stupid remark. Here is what it proves: Lots of towns & cities in U.S.A.

He was an officer in a town of 1400 people about 30 miles north of Pensacola Florida. Lots of towns and
cities hire all kinds of people to be officers. I think one story said that town had 7 officers altogether.
Without that information one might think that Alabama is some kind of idiot state which it is not. While
states regulate police forces, how well regulated is a small town's force of 7 or 8 officers?..The town
itself is very small....

...The town was...Flomaton Alabama...He was Police captain Scott Walden.

No, I have never heard of ....Flomaton Alabama .....neither have you....Have You?

It also proves that idiotic comments by small town police officers can get ..."national news" if those comments
are idiotic enough.................................................

......This deserves to be a story right after the ads for toilet paper at the very back of the newspaper
.............(in my humble opinion).............not "national news.".....and............

The reason that I am posting this is to give members of Democratic Underground more information
about the town of.....Flomaton Alabama...which is about 30 miles north of Pensacola Florida..
I wonder how many of us know exactly where ....Pensacola Florida ...is?...............

About Pensacola Florida:
________________________________________________________________________________________
Pensacola is the westernmost city in the Florida Panhandle, and the county seat of Escambia County, Florida.

As of 2019, the population was estimated to be 52,975. Pensacola is the principal city of the Pensacola Metropolitan Area, which had an estimated 502,629 residents as of 2019.

there are many more who have a job in the police force and enjoy harrassing, beating up or killing people of colors.

to cause serious problems for the residents of Flomaton who aren't Republicans. Chances are, he/they feel the same way about residents who aren't white, aren't straight, aren't Christian, etc...

He has also shown himself to be a liar, when he claimed he didn't write what he wrote. Makes me wonder how well the incident and arrest reports in this department jibe with reality.

4. It wasn't stupid what he said. It was criminal. He was suspended and resigned.

There should actually be more punishment than what he got.

FLOMATON, Ala. (WALA) -- A Flomaton police captain has resigned following a controversial, election-related Facebook comment.

The comment allegedly came from Captain Scott Walden, who responded to a post admonishing Biden voters and what was referred to as the “Democrats news media.”

Walden’s alleged social media comment said quote, “they need to line up ev1 of them and put a bullet in their skull for treason.”

And yes, I live 69.5 miles from there. That kind of thinking is rampant.

...I guess I need to add to also this:....There are a whole lot of towns with 1400 people in them
in the U.S.A..

.......That kind of thinking is rampant in many towns and cities in the U.S.A.........All kinds of people with all kinds of thoughts in the U.S.A...(I need to add that too)...One more idea to consider:...We almost

...........never hear about the ....good things that people say.....Do We?
