I do think those election commission officials and all poll workers still on the job have the right to a safe workplace.

Have you seen the videos of people showing out at counting centers in Arizona? No one should have to be subjected to that while working at any job, much less such an important one. Which means guards must be hired, and trained. Many precautions have surely been taken already to protect these workers. And that’s on top of all the procedures that have been put in place because of COVID. No one will volunteer to do this in the future, if their safety can’t be assured.

dance in joy and relief. The world leaders said welcome back, lets get to work. There is a reason to call it, and all day is exactly it. Trump doesn't matter anymore. What he says does not matter any more.

The pressure cooker was building. The pressure has been released and we can move on. That RW hollering lost its steam.

And that is what people were saying last night and why it was important to call it. It mattered and losing one more tradition because of the nastiness on the other side serves none of us.

It's just the backlash I fear and I should be more fearless, but I'd really like the country to come together instead of find another way to blow apart at the seams.

I remember when Obama made his first speech. Someone who spoke in complete, clear sentences and had real points to make without dragging up muck across the carpet. It was such a relief after GW.

NOW I feel so glad to have someone who is calm, strongly determined to unite the country, but it isn't something one person can do. We need as many allies as we can get and we need to tie up all the loose ends with Trump and his army of thugs.

We have won our biggest battle so far, but we aren't fully out of this election yet. Stay vigilant. Watch each other's backs. Trump is a sneaky SOB and the people with him have ties back to the worst in this country and aren't afraid to get people to go out and do dirty deeds.

I wrote this last night about Democrats always being the one accommodating the rw anger. I am damn tired of Democrats being the ones to coddle the right while they hold loaded guns to our heads.

When someone tells you who they are, believe them, that is the least we can do. Yawl want to unite, go for it. But, I know better. I lived around these people for two and half decade and they are more angry than even. It has been building since bushco. We can play nice all we want, they do not like us, and good with us being dead.

But there are also those who were plain out lied to and were dumb enough to drink the koolaid.

I am not talking about "uniting" as in "kumbaya ya'll are forgiven anything and everything" I am talking strategic alliances to get the job completely done.

To get all the key players brought to justice we need evidence. To get evidence we have to be diligently gathering the evidence without spooking the guilty parties. I want TrumpCo locked up, but if we just run around yelling about it, they win because they will just shred the truth or find other ways around it if we telegraph our every move.

THOSE who will work with us, ok. Not going to totally trust, but can be professional about it if you will. Get the job done.

I don't "coddle" anyone who holds a gun to my head, but disarming people is more of an art than pure brute force. Not many people are fast enough to outmaneuver a bullet, but some have talked crazy folk into putting it down and lived to tell about it.

I just wanted those counting the votes to live through it so they could get the job done.
