Fox News host Laura Ingraham advises Trump to accept defeat with 'grace and composure' in unusual me

Fox News host Laura Ingraham advised President Trump on Friday to "accept defeat" with "grace and composure" in an extraordinary shift in messaging.

Following President-elect Joe Biden's speech on Friday night, Ingraham went on Fox News to seemingly prepare her viewers for the likelihood that Trump might soon have to accept his election loss.

In a video of the segment, Ingraham said: "If and when it's time to accept an unfavorable outcome in this election, and we hope it never comes, President Trump needs to do it with the same grace and composure that he demonstrated at that town hall with Savannah Guthrie."

The Fox News pundit was referring to the president's town hall event in October, which was hosted by NBC anchor Savannah Guthrie.

We'd all breathe easier if Fox could calm its viewers down a bit.

Hannity has Trump's ear on almost a daily basis. I wonder if Hannity could get on board with this program of trying to lower the intensity and get Trump to at least stop the hostile provocations.

Bluff and bluster, insults and name calling, yes. But grace and composure? Not a chance!

He will go ranting and raving to the guillotine, no doubt about it.

A metaphorical guillotine, of course. Not a real one. Unfortunately.

act Presidential. He has never shown grace and composure before or during his time in office. He definitely won’t show it after either.

Trump has only two response modes for this election; 1.) I won. 2.). The election was rigged against me, and stolen from me; I'm the wronged and injured party here.

Grace and composure are signs of weakness to him and those of his ilk, and are utterly foreign to his nature. They are devices employed by "losers" and "chumps" which Trump would resort to only to save face if he perceives himself to be desperate and hopelessly cornered. The cost to his fragile ego would be devastating...

But isn’t it time to finally just label FOX as an in kind donation to his campaign.

No “news” organization should be saying “...and we hope it never comes” when talking about his loss. We have gotten so used to it that we just stop noting how incredibly inappropriate it is.

If you ever want to get that motherfucker to admit to defeat, when you make the suggestion... you space out the suggestion and fill it with a lot of ass kissing.
