OK - Sorry to ask (again) when the question has been asked a zillion times

Why the fuck is the PA count STILL taking so long? Yes I get that they could not even begin to process the mail-in until 8pm Tues, AND ballots have to be moved around the state, but JHC, this is crazy!

heavily skewed towards Democratic voters, they think that somehow they are massively pro-trump. Although to make up the deficit, they will have to be around 70% trump which is pretty impossible.

each take much longer to prepare, examine and tally than machine counted in-person ballots as they had in previous years.

It takes a lot longer because there was a reason they were provisional and they have to make sure the voter was qualified to vote.

but then I see the boxes and boxes of ballots that they have to be counted and am amazed that it can even be done in a reasonable period of time. It truly is a daunting task.

Screening, training and supervision is required. This is work that requires more than basic skillls.

They have to verify that the person is a registered voter in the precinct, that the person hasn't voted already, that signature matches and so on.
PA also had an unusually high number of provisional ballots this election because they changed their method of voting and allowed vote by mail. Yet apparently many people either didn't receive their ballot or changed their mind, resulting in a large number of provisional ballots.

...with what PA has already provided to see that the writing is on the wall. They can come up with a million reasons that a call can't be 100% certain yet, but they've totally run out of reasons a call isn't 99.99% certain.

If it were any other current President than Trump, they'd have called PA a day or two ago.

And with the court case sequestering the postmarked but late arriving ballots that slowed it down.

What they are doing is checking for double votes.

This process in one way or another is still going on in many states right now.
