I usually turn on my TV later in the day and watch MSNBC, but of course this week is different. Mika Brzezinski seems pretty cool but Joe Scarborough? Not so much.

(47,351 posts)Joe has some moments when he is very thoughtful and insightful, but his tendency to cut people off and filibuster for long periods of time is rather exhausting. He goes into some long monologues where he repeats himself a lot and obviously loves the sound of his own voice. Fortunately, I can fast-forward when he starts going on and on. I usually like the rest of the regulars on the show.
Mika's father once called Scarborough "stunningly superficial" and that pretty much says it all.

(53,758 posts)so I find myself watching it. Often the show has worthwhile guests but Scarborough is not my cup of tea (guess I should say my cup of joe).
That show and its hosts are still psychically, in the abstract, trying to make up for its robust promotion of trump four years ago as he would frequently call into the show and both Scarborough and Mika would enthusiastically welcome him to chat and campaign. It was millions of dollars worth of free publicity for trump and helped his campaign tremendously.
Once trump showed the nation what an inept idiot he is and a disaster as a president, they've become as enthusiastically opposed to him as they were once enthusiastically welcoming to him.
