those friends of mine who support keeping the Electoral College, state that their areas will not be represented if New York and California elect a new President if there is no Electoral College.
My sarcastic reply is, 'that's what your gerrymandered districts are for. How much representation do you need?'

where their vote counts up to 30 times more than mine (I'm in CA)

that they could elect the POTUS. They too have red votes that would count. And the next two biggest states are Florida and Texas and one of those is ahead of NY in population now so you can be they will get more House reps and thus more EV.
The cities should be represented as well as empty land, that's where the unfairness lies.
