(7,263 posts)The new king labored hard healing the land of its wounds, as the heroes who fought the rising darkness over the ages slowly lay down the burdens and departed. Once the king felt he had done all he could he lay down his kingship and left the new age to his descendants.
The story ends in a joyful melancholy not in triumph.
