This afternoon in New York City was joyous!

We drove into town for the weekend at our apartment, (we retreated to our house in the Catskills in March).

It was a lovely late Fall day with sunshine and temperatures in the low-70s. During our sojourns this afternoon, the city was going nuts with happiness. People were hanging out their windows and yelling, chanting and singing! People on the street were "air-5-ing" one another. One fellow was selling tee shirts with a picture of Trump with the words, "You're fired!" ($12 each, 3 for $30).

Remarkable. Nearly no one in NYC is disappointed in Trump' demise. Now for the state's Attorney General to step up and indict his fat ass!

Ty for sharing your amazing experience!

Yes. I'm sure Letita James is eager to get started & others will as well.

staying in. Short visit to grocery store soon, maybe.

After 8 months (and since August a rare out of my name trip) of discipline - while I had the faint wish - I didn't have to battle any urges to go join in the big celebrations.

Yes, Letticia and the SDNY are waiting with baited breath!
