I am so excited that Biden won, but

There are 70M+ deplorable assholes who voted for Trump, and unfortunately they aren’t going anywhere. Matter of fact, times like these are when they are at their worse. They will create some type of fake movement (i.e the tea party). And the media will cover them as good fearing, hardworking Americans who feel left behind. They are going to show up in massive numbers in 2022 (this is where we have to match them).... and right now, Mitch McConnell, the Koch brothers, and the right wing media are meeting in secret plotting on how they are going to make Biden’s life a living hell and how they will energize these voters.

I was celebrating the Biden/Harris victory but having read your post I realize now how foolish I’ve been.

Maybe you give your fellow DU’ers one day to celebrate without shitting in the punch bowl. Maybe?

Joe, in particular, is excellent at bring folks along, and he is beloved by the Senate.

Joe and Kamala ran a perfect campaign against an incumbent who threw EVERYTHING at them and failed. I have great confidence that they and the great Democrats that ran in the primaries (e.g., Mayor Pete, Castro, and Yang) might have great roles going forward.
