Without their determination and organization there is no doubt that we would have lost the country.

I'm sure there are evangelicals who wonder what is wrong with their supposed fellow believers that would allow them to vote for trump.

I know that I (old white guy) wonder what is wrong with so many white people that they would be willing to give away the country they grew up in so that an immoral ass could sit in the White House.

There are not enough thanks yous.

The younger people and people of color may feel nobody is fighting for them, but with their collective votes in EVERY single election, they could drastically change that. Both parties would have to change their policies to include them. So often they are overlooked or left out. I want to see an America where that isn't allowed to happen anymore, and both parties (or all parties) are begging for their votes. I feel that while the Republican party outright harms youth and minorities with their racist policies and insistence on appeasing the ultra wealthy, the Democratic party too often treats them as an afterthought. I am optimistic President Biden will do much better. I hope he starts with voter oppression and suppression.

Nevertheless, I’m still grateful.
