Please quit telling us to not celebrate

So many of us, our families, our friends, poor co-workers, our neighbors, have been hurt so bad these last 4 years and for years to come.

We can finally see this will be over, or at least stopped, and have every right and need to celebrate.

Instead, try this : please be safe, celebrating.

Thank you.

to sit this one out.

I just hung up on a friend who I know voted for the idiot and I didn't speak to him for 2 years. But we've been friendly the last two years bc not one peep of politics.

So I called to thank him for bringing me some bananas.. and he said he had been resting.. I said I've been celebrating. he said "celebrating"? you better not celebrate yet.. that's going to the Supreme Court.

Well, I lost it! I said.. "No It's NOT.. trump is a GD LIAR.. there was NO Voter Fraud!!! & hung up the phone.. i mean how dare he?!!

about probably losing a friend.

It pisses me off how they take his word about SHIT! This guy hasn't gotten it in 4 years that trump is a LIAR about EVERYTHING.. he kills people with his LIES.

he's smart in other ways.. but something kept him from recognizing trump's DEADLY Bullshit. I wasn't sure until today.

People on every street corner in downtown Decatur holding Biden-Harris signs and waving to honking cars — lots of joyous hoots, hollers, and fireworks. Smiling eyes behind masks, flags and hats waving on a warm November night. Kind of beautiful.

I'm celebrating, even though I'm a Canadian. I can't pat myself on the back, but I can sure as hell be happy and relieved. My wife is a very liberal New Yorker, but from WNY, not NYC. NEVER ask if that's where she's from.

Anyway, I can tell you that she and her family are damned sure celebrating.

I have to admit I’m a bit jealous of those who can go out in public and celebrate today

I live in Texas and let me tell you, it’s not that easy here without putting a bullseye on you head..

I so had wished Texas would have turned blue, but alas...next time.

Please keep it going! I take great joy in all you happiness and truly wish I was in a blue state to celebrate with you.🙂

And CELEBRATE!!! In whatever way one wishes to celebrate, just do it! What I won't do is cower and try to hide the fact that I voted for the future. I am proud of my vote, proud of my party. You goddamned right I'll celebrate. It may only be me by myself with a tub of Ben and Jerry's rum raisin ice cream, but hey, to each his own.

My mom is scared there will be civil war, but that is a fear for another day--this weekend is OURS!
