The curriculum and approach for their workshops is based on marriage and family counseling techniques and was written by Bill Doherty, who has decades of experience and work as an educator in the field. Very structured and safe so no one feels attacked.

They also are committed to balancing the polar opposites in leadership and in their core Red-Blue workshops. The executive board consists of half conservatives and half liberals with two co-chairs. The event can't happen without equal numbers of each (or within one member of parity). No side is outnumbered.
