4. I knew guys on Pres. Ford's detail

In Vail, Colorado in the 80s. It was a pretty plush gig. It was free chauffeur service and errand boys for Jerry and Betty. While the Fords could decline protection and were not considered to be at any real risk, they wouldn’t give it up.

Trump loves the attention and loves feeling important. There is no way he gives up free chauffer service and a lifetime of free caddy service provided by the Secret Service. Unless he is in prison.
