there was a clip of a young Aisian-american girl......like 3-4 years old, pointing to Phillipa Soo on tv in Hamilton, and saying "she looks like me"
over and over. she was in a room with several women, but none were Asian.

7. I was talking to a friend today about the historic nature of Harris's win

We were saying that's almost been overlooked in all this, but probably not to young girls of color. And here's another thing we haven't thought about: there's an entire generation of young Americans who have yet to see a white guy as a functional president.
