transactional as Trump. They are only doing it because of money. They aren't emotionally attached to what they say.

They do whatever the job requires, then move on. The problem with moving on this time is that, outside of Fox News and other right-wing outlets, finding employment might be a bit of a challenge, at least for the near term.

Not to mention if they decide to write a book, and the cult followers will flock to buy their books. While they aren't emotionally attached to what they say, the cult followers are emotionally attached and will continue to worship them.
