It seems to me that a Pardon for Trump might complicate his life post presidency.

I think it was Ari Melber who pointed out to Sherriff Arpaio that accepting a pardon was an admission of guilt. It seemed to come as quite a shock to the the Sherriff that one cannot be pardoned if there is no criminal conviction.

So if Trump is pardoned, either by Pence or himself, could that be used as evidence of guilt in any pending SDNY cases IF the pardon included any crimes also under investigation at the State level?
