(1,789 posts)Rudy needs to give his press conference in front of some place that sounds more expensive than it is like the Four Seasons Landscaping place yesterday.
"Major announcement tomorrow at the Ritz (dry cleaners)."

(2,120 posts).....response is often "that's not fair", meaning "I didn't get my way, so that's unfair". I've thought about this almost every time I've heard Trump complain about how unfairly he is being treated in one context or another. He has and continues to sound like a little kid who is unhappy because he didn't get his way.

(17,174 posts)Pro Tip: Just leave this period on your resume blank, and tell a potential employer that you were in prison. You'll get a warmer reception.

(14,570 posts)Or, conversely, put an asterisk next to your Trump experience with *will explain in interview.
Then, work on interview answers that talk about what you learned from your time in the Trump administration, how you're never going to do it again, and how you should be offered another chance because you are reformed!

(8,329 posts)And I worked for people who the American public had much greater respect for than the criminal enterprise that currently resides in the whitehouse.
It was still difficult to find a job when administrations flip.
People coming out of this administration should be looking for legal counsel dont worry about finding a job.
That said, the Republican think tanks will take care of some of the well connected. The Heritage Foundation, American Enterprise Institute and the like along with groups like the Chamber of Commerce, the Homebuilders, National Association of Manufacturers and the defense companies. There will be soft landings for the chosen few.

(7,402 posts)It has to be a consideration when you take the job and not just a whine when a new administration comes in. It is how you conduct yourself while on the job that matters and it is that conduct that will be held against you. What was "so unfair" was the conduct -- a conduct gleefully pursued.

When it was time to leave, he had job offers up the wazoo - each better than the other. He and his family ended up making a major move, with major benefits, to the west coast.
Those were the days...when being linked to a president or an administration meant something. The "People of tRump" won't be as fortunate.

(28,787 posts)since the only prerequisite was trump loyalty, i wouldn't hire anyone from that administration except for the people who got out and went public with the truth.
