Did anyone else think that Dave Chappelle was trying to channel Lenny Bruce last night?

I was a big fan of the Chappelle show and I know that he can be provocative, but last night had a different *ring* to it.

I didn't stay up for the whole show, and my beverages may have kicked in (aside: I celebrated with a Storm Watch, and will include the simple recipe below, because it is a crowd pleaser)

The Storm Watch
3 parts your favorite lemonade (I made my own, but Aldi has a good lemonade, "Simply Lemonade" is okay too)
1 part Western Son Blueberry vodka (it MUST be that kind, or I can't vouch for it)

garnish with some fresh blueberries and/or a lemon slice

So simple. So easy, and it is perfect with this warm weather

I mean, in the sense that most comedians do, yes, but given the election, it was going to themaguffin Nov 2020 #1

When you've lost a close relative to lung cancer, it can be triggering.

....but now that you mention it, I see what you mean. That's a real possibility.

That was Chappell 4 years ago on SNL after Trump was elected. How many died? How many babies in cages? How much hate? I don’t think we should forget the complicit.

I've never seen him before. Since it appeared the show was rewritten quickly after the day's election results and the timing and breaks were way off, he was filling in with some adlibs. This morning I listened to him again (the clip on DU), but with headphones and it was a little better.
