Some Chores in Celebration of the Biden/Harris Victory

I just finished mowing the last of the leaves on the lawn, mulching them into fine particles. Now, the mower is running in the driveway, its safety bar clamped to the handle with ViceGrips. When the tank is empty, I'll park it at the back of the garage.

I've already moved the 2-stage snowblower up by the garage door at the front of the garage. Its fuel tank is empty. I changed its oil this Spring and just filled my 5-gallon gas can with gasoline and a bit of Stabl fuel stabilizer to keep it from going stale. I'll check the machine over for loose nuts and bolts and then fill its tank and fire it up to make sure it will start instantly when I need it this Winter.

That done, I will close the garage door and just wait. Perhaps on Inauguration Day, I'll celebrate by blowing freshly fallen snow off my driveway. that would be great!

Out with the old; in with the new.
