While it would be crass to make the point a little too obvious, I think we could profitably point out in Georgia that McConnell has gone on record against new stimulus checks, while Schumer supports the House plan for new $2,000 checks for ordinary Americans.
Even some voters otherwise inclined to vote Republican might decide they like having $2,000 more than they like their Republican principles.

I think he withheld them just so that he could approve of them now and look like a hero for the GA runoffs.
I think he's going to try to buy those seats.
