the Thanksgiving Dinner table.. do anything to keep him (or her) quiet so the rest of us can finish our meal..half of America is brainwashed.. it will take time and actually some compassion to help them walk away from Trump.. and some people never will.. so what is the solution
1. Ignore him.. go on with our restart of the government. He and Giuliani and all the rest of that crew will yell scream call you every name in the book..but you just have to get on with life and leave them in the dust
2. Do not tear our own party apart with our demands for the things we want even before Biden and Harris get into office.. (we went through this exact thing with President Obama, he was not even in office and people were wanting to primary him)..
3. President Biden has been down this road before, he knows what is ahead of him and is jumping to the get go getting us back into climate accords.. rebuilding NATO etc etc by executive action.
4. Most important of all.. have a little faith

(2,626 posts)I'm fed up with this country being run by a narcissist who maintains control because everyone close to him is afraid of his outbursts. Just like the family with the mentally ill bully, they scramble to do his bidding no matter how outrageous.
Let the dysfunctional supporters have their temper tantrums on behalf of their unbalanced orange king. Let the sycophants figure out how to tell him he's a loser. It's not our problem. We don't have to buy in to the nonsense for one second longer. We've got work to do to restore our Democratic Republic, our standing in the world and simple human decency.
