7. If, as I expect, Trump immediately announces his 2024 run once

he comes to terms with being a loser, there are two advantages that I see. Firstly, it would make it harder for Democrats to be seen to be going after a former president, from the opposing party, who is now a candidate for 2024. Not that they shouldn't do it, but it might get into backfiring territory. I think Letitia James and SDNY going after him, is a far safer hands off look.

Secondly, woe betide any Cotton, Haley or Hawley running themselves if Donnie announces straight away....and you can bet Fox will demand their loyalty.
