My Takeaway from the Election

I believe Democrats are going to fall into the same trap they did after Obama was elected. Listening to the voices of the far right about how BLM and Progressive causes were the reason we lost seats in the House and that we must become more "Centrist".

I have been listening to that bullshit for way too many years and every time the Dems fall for it. Obama bent over backwards to kiss McConnell's ass and they laughed while plotting his downfall. When will we learn that they are the enemy and are trying to kill us all. It's nice of Joe to give the platitudes of being the President of all the people but he must remember who brought him to the dance. It was progressive causes, health care for all, adding states, protecting SS and Medicare and on and on, police reform. Now we are expected by the right wingers to abandon our values and the people who brought this victory forward to kiss their asses? If Democrats fall for this bullshit again they certainly deserve the fate which will surely come.

Thank you for listening.

We have played nice long enough.Time to play hardball.Don't let those crooks get away with this.Time to turn the table on those freaks. We have to pick people to run when he is sworn in.I pray we get the Senate.I believe in prayer.I also want the dems is going to make sure they undo trump tax crap and all his policies and over take them to make sure they do not win another election or have another person who steals the election again. Deems should hire another special council to dig into the 16 election and they can then cancel the election of 16 as being stolen.

We MUST deal with the reality that Republicans have drug our political landscape FAR to the right, and respond in kind by dragging it back to the left, where it belongs.

what McTurtle did to Obama. Biden is a man of reason. That doesn't mean he's stupid. Let's get the Senate, so we can get rid of McTurtle and function.

he really knows that they will not - he lived through the Obama years. However, the R's have now been put in a corner because they will be blamed for not working with the Biden administration! Biden has made it CLEAR, over & over, that he would work with them! Now it's up to the R's!

Republicans keep moving the center to the right and Democrats fold to them. We need to bulldoze our agenda through the same way they did.

and obstruct everything the new administration puts forward, what is your plan? Give up a little to get a lot, or stand firm and get absolutely nothing? Just sit on the sidelines yelling till something better comes along? I'm confused: playing the tough guy in such a situation won't solve anything. So what's a feller to do?

Obama got the best ACA he could get, not the one he wanted. I suppose you think nothing would have been better. I don't think 18 million Americans would agree with you.

Nobody wins trying to follow republican positions - its a suckers game the dems have played quite a bit
It's not hard - go with the real POLICY like medicare for all, min wage, etc that have close to 70% and its a done deal
just don't bs people and think it's back to business as usual.

are not to be trusted, they showed their bloody hands esp. Mitch who went on recess without a stimulous plan, just picked up and left and screw the American people. How many times are we going to go through this shit???

I agree we need to win the Senate and push that swampy Turtle out. He's just as evil as tRump. This fucking dark money has got to go too. Do they (Repigs) really think we are stupid (well 70 million are) but we are not.

This is not over. And the media is two faced too in favour of those filthy repigs.

Just venting.
