NO residency requirement to vote in Georgia! Let's move 500K Californians there asap.....

Here are the requirements:

There are no length of residency requirements in Georgia, so if you have just moved here you can register to vote on day one.

In order to register to vote in Georgia you must meet the following requirements:

Be a United States citizen.
You have to be a resident of Georgia and live in the county and voting precinct where you will vote.
You can register to vote when you are 17.5 years old, but you must be 18 by election day to vote.
If you have been convicted of a felony you must be "off paper" to register. Off paper means that you've served your sentence, completed probation/parole and paid any fines that are related to your sentence, or have received a pardon for your conviction.
If you have been declared mentally incompetent by a judge, you cannot register to vote in Georgia.

and from what I have read, just have a bank statement forwarded there for a month or two. Or maybe instead of snail mail, opt for electronic statements and print it off.
It does not seem, according to the requirements, that a GA drivers license or utility bill is needed.

on edit: you wouldn't need to change your paycheck info, just the bank institution. And, the second form of GA ID would be to obtain a GA drivers license, even a temporary one. I think the UPS mailbox places all have street addresses. You would not have to change your employer's payroll info by going that route.

I know DeKalb well, its a great area and there is a UPS place I used often in the Decatur square area. And they have mailboxes for rent. Maybe that would work.

I don't believe Trump was able to wall off California in the one term, should be able to cruise right through.

I tried to convince him this weekend to register to vote, but he keeps blowing it off as something he "can't do." I think I'll show him this and put more pressure on him now.

Spring semester of virtual college in Savannah or Atlanta! Escape the winter. If I were that age I'd be online looking at rentals.
