Would it not be smart to BRIBE Trump to not run in 2024?

I don't even want to deal with the stress of the possibility he might return as president, and I'm no longer able to delude myself that he doesn't have a horde of idiots willing to vote for him.

Would it not be a smart use of funds to have, for example, a TV network promise him the BIGGEST TV CONTRACT OF ALL TIME (as he would describe it in Twitter), with the condition that he not run in 2024?

He wants attention. He should be ignored.

He'll either be dead by 2024 or he'll lose in the primaries, assuming he even runs. No way does the GOP make the same mistake twice. He only won in 2016 because the field was too large for too long and was filled with losers.

For one thing, it would be just another example of how he gets tons of money no matter how incompetent he is.

For another, I think the Republican Party will be heartily sick of him long before campaigning for 2024 begins and they will move quietly to block him from trying to run. Plus, he's going to be 78 that year, and yes, I know it is how old Joe currently is, but he's a far less healthy 70 something. He will, assuming he avoids jail or the need to move to a country with no extradition treaty, decide he'd rather spend his days just playing golf and eating fast food than anything else. That's my opinion.

He is already going to be stressed out for the next 8 weeks, and then facing huge legal/ financial problems. He won't even attempt a 2024 run.

If he and his family weren't such assholes, I would feel sorry for them. Sometimes, in weak moments, I do---

it takes both a lot of media coverage and money to successfully run for POTUS.

It's a certainty that Trump will run for POTUS in 2024, if he's still alive and not in jail. And, it's a certainty that he will get a lot of media coverage. However, will it be positive media coverage? I doubt very much that it will.

And, I'm pretty sure that the big donor class and corporation boys won't be willing to throw their money away a second time. After all, the guy is now a proven LOSER.

Lastly, I suspect having Trump out there bad-mouthing the rest of the Republican presidential field may actually help the Democrats in the next election.
