Ashley Biden!!!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8921041/Ashley-Biden-daughter-poised-step-Ivankas-shoes.html

Well i don't agree with the headline re: Ashley poised to step into Ivanka's shoes. They can't be more different.

BUT i do hope, as the article says, that Ashley & her plastic surgeon hubby Howard Krein will be there to help him. They have no kids so i think she will have more time to devote to assisting Biden administration.

I saw Ashley accompany her dad & nephew to Mass this morning and was intrigued, as she does not like to be in the limelight, unlike Ivanka. Personally i think Ashley's a poised, lovely young lady whose accomplished, very well spoken, an empathetic humanitarian and philanthropist.

NO. NO family in official capacities.
We don't know who else will gain the white house and think the trumps arrangements were a good idea.
Lets look at how we can spare our great grandkids another mess like the trump nepotism. Or they will hate us.

If Biden wants them around for moral support, that's fine.

But any official position is against the law, unless you want Biden to adopt the "up is down, down is up, we've always been at war with Eastasia, words don't mean what words mean" style of interpreting laws that characterized the Trump administration. I don't.

advisory committees rather than the nepotism laws. It was hardly non controversial, and not plainly legal when first done. Ultimately she/they prevailed, but on a very narrow, specific ruling which doesn't apply to Trump or Biden and their daughters.

Again, Trump went over the line, Biden should not, and doesn't need to.

She's not out to take advantage of her access to power. If she can be of service to the country by helping her father in some capacity i'm all for it. The Bidens are not money-grubbing Trump types. They are good, decent people. Ashley is a lovely young lady who can do good things. She's already demonstrated that.

2- not there to grift & take advantage of the office of POTUS for their grifting and self-serving purposes

IF they helped him do good for the country & the world, then yes, though we know this isn't the case.

Jill is planning to continue to work full-time, so I'm betting Ashley takes over some of the First Lady duties. She could handle the fawking Chreesmas decorations, and do a much better job than the weird nightmares we have seen over the past 4 years. Perhaps she might be interested in restoring the Rose Garden.

We can't count on always getting the Bidens. If our country goes another 250 years there are possibilities of more families like trumps. This is a good time to write tough nepotism laws for the executive branch.
