1. Do they even really exist anymore as of Nov. 3?

Their mission kind of ended. But thousands of bored housewives are all hopped up on rescuing human trafficking victims from the Democrats and don't know what to do now.

3. I'd love to see an investigation into the roots of Qanon and expose them

I bet someone like Stephen Miller, Alex Jones or Russia trolls are the origins of these insane conspiracy theories. My husbands 23 year old nephew is a follower and his mother is worried about his sanity. His younger sister hung up on him when she told him she was voting for Biden and Qanon was crazy shit. He got really angry with her.

6. QAnon started out in 4Chan, pushed out by trolls for the LULZ

It became co-opted by the Xtian right, and for the most part, seems to be rather decentralized; depending on whomever is loudest as to what the latest conspiracy is. That's why your QAnon relative is spouting a string of contradictory "truths" with all the sincerity of a three year old with unrestricted access to YouTube.

8. He told us his 60 year old uncle and aunt we were ignorant and being lied to by the MSM news

And he knows more than us. At that point I unfriended him on Facebook any my last words were he would regret those words someday.

And then I wrote that the older I get the more I realize I don’t know everything. But I can smell bullshit immediately. He didn’t get it.

10. Those who saw what was happening in 4chan saw the rise of QAnon.

And how many of the 4chan trolls gleefully provided input. Then Alex Jones and Steve Bannon picked it up and made it somewhat mainstream, providing it with a sketchy but legit seeming platform in conservative circles.
One of my white-hat co-workers has a side gig monitoring 4chan, she saw QAnon bubble up.
After that, seemed that anyone with enough money or conservative cred could pretend they were Q, as long as they had an admin password.

So many people are gullible. Yes, I take mainstream media with a grain of salt, but I know a con when I see one. And it helps to know people working Cyber security when questioning social media.

As was Christian Identity, Matt Hale's Nazi Party, Promise Keepers, Sword of the Lord, Warriors for God.

Oh, and the Tea Party.

Now it's Oath Keepers and Q.

I don't think people realize the strength of these freaks in rural areas.

Everything they do is a reaction to some accusation or a reaction to something the left is doing.
