She pointed out that three defeated candidates had not backed, campaigned or otherwise supported such positions. But because of the way democrats tend to campaign, the GOP can get away with these attacks.

Republicans constantly lie about Democrats, the media drinks it up, and suddenly people believe it. We’re “socialists”, we want criminals to come to the US illegally so they can vote for us, we want to defund the police, we’re all violent Antifa members, we want free heroine for all... It’s stupid and pointless, but Republicans are able to sell these talking points to their base. And we haven’t figured out a good response yet.

7. We do not need to do anything like the Republicans. They simply cheat.

We do need to be less "nice" and we need to do better at messaging. Republicans act the way they do because they believe that they are mandated by god to be in charge. That is not hyperbole. They believe that any loss, is no indictment on their ideas, but merely on the candidate, or that they were somehow cheated. That is why they can lie, cheat, and steal without any kind of remorse or even acknowledgement of hypocrisy or internal inconsistency.

We can never become like them or what is the point of even having democracy.

And,yes,no Candidate used or talked Defunding anything. It was outside special interest groups who ran pro Defunding Ads. We have several here in the Vegas Valley .
