Heart-breaking. I do think Beau's memory gives Biden strength, which he surely will NEED. hlthe2b Nov 2020 #4

These 4 years have been overwhelming. I feel like I can breathe again.

I can't imagine how Joe has held up with all that life has dealt him.

I know what it did to my parents.

And yet it's so beautiful that Beau's Dad had to connect with him at this time.
I'm sure Joe missed hugging Beau after his speech last night.
One never seems to get over losses like that.
But Joe dusted himself off and got something else accomplished - that his son wished for.

Acts like that are beyond party. Every American should be able to relate to that.
I do not think the incumbent can understand or relate to it.

I can't begin to imagine what Joe has gone through. Honestly if he had just chosen to ride off into the sunset and enjoy life I'd respect that, but Joseph Robinette Biden Jr is made of absolute steel. The odds and tough breaks (to say the least) and incomprehensible tragedies I think have only tested his resolve. He had to bury Beau, that is a reality I can't even fathom. As I recall someone showed a picture of Joe at Beau's grave on election day. It's very obvious Joe's heart is no longer whole and it never will be again. Hang in there President Elect and RIP to Beau.

Probably wanted to share his big day with Beau.
