that he wants to see done.
It's clear he imagines that an national POTUS election has some kind of court-based failsafe where if you can convince judges that 'the other side engaged in bad faith' that the whole thing can be nullified by a Court (in this case SCOTUS).
He is entirely wrong of course. The SCOTUS cannot, and WOULD NOT EVEN TRY to order the entire election invalid.
He MAY be able to get a few votes here or there thrown out. Maybe. That's the absolute best he can hope for.
I really don't think he understands this basic concept. It's never been true for him in his life, so he can't imagine it.

I mean their entire case in NV to invalidate ALL MAIL IN BALLOTS something never done in any election in any state in the history of the US was two sworn afidavits. One from a guy who claimed to vote but couldn't because someone had already returned his mail in ballot (he chose not to cast a provisional ballot = his choice). The second was a Trump poll watcher who wasn't allowed to film the ballot counting. Not any overt illegal act just as limited under the rules in NV couldn't film the ballot counting.
That is it. That is the grand total of their "evidence" in which they were asking the judge to disenfranchise a million fucking people something never before done under any circumstances. The judge all but laughed them out of the court room.
Trump is a joke and a loser. Biden WILL be the 46th president of these united states.

(7,820 posts)and questions in 2016 about this, especially as it seemingly became clear that there was probably Russian interference. But, then, shouldnt Hillary become President? And my answer then is the same thing I will tell Trump supporters (and would say to Trump) There is no mechanism for that. And there is way more evidence of shenanigans last time, but we dont have a do-over clause. Closest is probably impeachment, and even that is limited and has very clear rules about who assumes power if a President is removed.
