A spokesman ridiculed 4 doctors about their demands that Gov. Ricketts reinstate the mandates for the virus. The spokesman said that those doctors where politicizing their views and their need to Ricketts make the decision on what to do. Meanwhile cases in Nebraska has rocketed to the highest level since the beginning of the pandemic. Ricketts is following Trump’s way in handling the pandemic. He doesn’t care, he will be hurt politically because he is term limited and is unable to run for governor again.

So what is his incentive to kill his constituents? My probably uninformed thinking would have me believe that term limits would make somebody say “screw the party line, I gotta do what’s right.”
