They would need to get Bidens electors under 270?
Is the majority still 270 if states arent included?
Like rejected for having 2 slates?
Next in which states could this even be possible?
Would it have to pass both houses and be signed off by governor? Like a law?
Lastly are there any democratic states that could retaliate?
Its one thing to think it up. Its another to have a plan that can succeed.

(102,272 posts)This has been addressed multiple times. The state laws that cover selection of electors CAN NOT
be changed post-election. This is just stirring up unnecessary hysteria.
Please Read this word for word (from the National Task Force on Election Crises from among our best legal minds) and then decide if you want to continue in this vein:

(19,359 posts)We should be aware of it.
They probably won't be able to pull it off, but with their lawlessness and moronic base, at the least they might further split the country and at the most twist the law such that they might succeed.
Let's be aware of how much RW talk focuses on this "remedy."

(102,272 posts)and stop propagating RW hysteria/memes. I know you know BETTER than to do so, as you already have posted an identical thread on this with near identical responses. .

(2,248 posts)It will take continual education to those who are hearing it for the first time or who haven't found definitive sources to debunk it.
I'm putting my faith in those who say not worry about it. We're just BURNED by trail of instances where folks said "It can't happen here" - and it did.
