it's infuriating. and the denial. my sister, my friend, say they aren't racists, but they are. i argue with my friend and i have called out my sister when several other people were with us. but she has Alzheimer's now so when she protests that she's "not racist, I'm really not" i just don't say anything.

Many of those well-off suburban white people care more for their 401k funds than they do the future of the country. They can afford to do pretty much what they want, and they haven’t been hurt by the virus, so they don’t care what happens to anyone else—white, black, or brown.
