I moved to Florida from Missouri, and soon after I got there I began encountering palmetto bugs. An exterminator came in to spray the apartment for bugs, and I asked him about them. He looked at me square in the face, serious as hell, and says ominously: "those come from the outside." I don't know what was more disturbing, the bugs or this guy's response.

Sanibel is on the west coast real close to FT.Myers. South of Pinellas county.
