Barr hasn’t been out of sight for no reason at all. This has been and is just part of an ongoing plan to steal the election from the will of the voters.

And well he should, although digging himself ever deeper into his hole doesn't seem wise, taking into consideration Trump's penchant of tossing close allies to the wolves when they are no longer useful to him. Barr apparently think that the closer he allies himself with Trump, the better chance he has to come away without getting indicted, when the opposite is far more likely to be the case.
