😱OMG. #NorthDakota Gov. @DougBurgum says #coronavirus-positive nurses can *stay at work* as hospitals with #COVID19 units have already reached 100% capacity.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

Things are going to get MUCH worse across the US before they get better.

With North Dakota hospitals at 100% capacity, Burgum announces COVID-positive nurses can stay at...
In an attempt to alleviate some of the staffing concerns, Burgum announced that the state health officer has amended an order that will allow health care workers with asymptomatic cases of COVID-19...

"Burgum has said he built the company in Fargo because of its proximity to North Dakota State University, in order to employ its stream of engineering students."

Replace the word "employ" with "exploit", thusly.

And, there's your answer.

8. The Wealthy class believe all workers are fungible. Especially female job workers.

A trained RN in a hospital is just like a teacher or the undocumented Nanny/Cook; it's just easy woman's work that anyone can do right?
Even if that worker was particularly dedicated, patient, kind, or well-loved, it could easily be replaced by someone else who needs a job. And anyone new won't have the higher cost that comes with seniority...

Seriously, that's how the Wealthy investors who buy up public services and politicians and become patrons in "churches" that pop up in depressed areas for profit think about people who work or produce anything.

There's the Elect - the "deciders" and then there's the Servants, the "doers".

I feel pity for any healthcare or public service worker in ND. Even if they're ignorant provincials or racists (Trumpers, but I repeat myself) their governer and her staff have just told the rest of the world those workers lives don't matter except to be used as disposable props to help the Elect of that state hide corruption and incompetence.
